It is a city on Earth. In Orbit City, all the homes and businesses are built on columns that allow buildings to be elevated into the sky. George Jetson and his family live there in Skypad Apartments.

Places of Interest[]
- The Skypad Apartments: An apartment building in Orbit City. Henry Orbit is the building's repairman. George Jetson and his family live there in the year 2062. The Skypad Apartments, like the rest of the city's architecture, is rendered in the Googie style. All homes and businesses are raised high above the ground on adjustable columns. Henry Orbit mentions that there are two thousand tenants in the building. The Skypad Apartments can be raised above the level of bad weather to a maximum of four thousand feet.
- Orbit City Golf Club: An business/golf course, instead of roughs or fairways, has just mid-air.
- Orbit High School: A school in Orbit City. Judy Jetson attends, among others.
- Little Dipper School: An elementary school in Orbit City. Elroy Jetson attends, among others.
- Spacely Space Sprockets, Inc.: A business that manufactures sprockets. It is owned by Cosmo Spacely, and its main business rival is Cogswell's Cogs. It operates a plant on an asteroid in space.
