The Lotus Blade is a mystical blade which Toshimiru used to carve the entire Yamanouchi Ninja School with. He used the sword's powers of transformation to do this incredible feat. It plays the vital role in the episode "Exchange" of the cartoon show Kim Possible.
History[]
The blade was stolen by Monkey Fist with the help of Fukushima.
Although it might be able to be wielded by normal people, it will only transform into other shapes if it is wielded by one with Mystical Monkey Power, such as Toshimiru, Monkey Fist, Ron Stoppable, and Rufus.
If it gets lost, it will also return if called by someone but only if their heart is pure, as stated by Master Sensei. When Ron called the Lotus Blade in "Exchange", it was responsible for stripping him down to his boxers, before crashing into a building.
Ron Stoppable, Rufus, and Monkey Fist are connected to the Lotus Blade by destiny, because of their Mystical Monkey Power.
When used by Ron and Rufus, it is blue in color. When used by Monkey Fist, it is red in color, though the red could have come from the light of the volcano's lava.
The sword was never seen again after Exchange, but was mentioned by Ron and Yori.
Monkey Fist has not gone after the blade again, because he believes it to be lost after seeing it fall into a deep crack in the land.
Abilities[]
Supposedly, only a person or animal exposed to Mystical Monkey Power could unleash the power of the Lotus Blade. However, very few handled the blade at all, so how true this idea was remains unknown.
The Lotus Blade was best known for its ability to transform into virtually any object the wielder chose. Initially, the transformations were limited to traditional weapons, but in Ron Stoppable's hands it briefly became a telephone. In addition, he was able to retrieve the blade from a deep chasm merely by calling to it aloud, a unique skill which Master Sensei attributed to Ron's pure heart.
